Week 4 Newsletter

Hello again everyone and this time hopefully the freshers as well (Sorry our mailing lists were borked). My name is branch and I'm Redbrick's Secretary. I've met some of you already but I hope I'll meet loads more of you in the coming weeks!

I'd also like to introduce anyone who's not heard already to our discord server! You can join all of us in the committee and get the latest info and access to everything Redbrick! There will be lots happening and a lot of banter to be had. Everyone is welcome and I hope to see you all there!

Who wants to join the circus as our ringleader? This coming Wednesday, Redbrick holds an Extraordinary General Meeting in order to elect a new chair onto the Redbrick Committee!! This Wednesday we will be electing: - 1 x Chairperson So come along on Wednesday, join us for pizza, and help elect the new chair for our wonderful community!

Brought to you by our fabulous webmaster Fraz! This week we will be having an overview of web based services provided by Redbrick. We want to show you how to make use of all these great services along with giving you a tutorial on how to setup a basic website on Redbrick! If that sounds interesting head on down to LG26 @ 15:30 on Wednesday!

This October Redbrick plays host to a hub for Hacktoberfest 2019! This means for one month, and one month only, Redbrick's HackerClub becomes HacktoberClub!

Finish the October with 4 or more Pull Requests on Github and you can bag yourself some free swag (t-shirts, stickers, etc)

Our sessions run on Wednesdays at 4.30pm in LG26! See you there!
