==Events Officer EGM==
==Paddy Power Careers Talk==
==Functional Spec. Talk==

==Admin Training==
Date: Tuesday 13th of November
Time:6pm-7pm
Venue: LG 26

Admin training will resume this week with our second session of the
year. This weeks topic is "The Magic of RBVM" in which the admins will
cover the ins and outs of Redbricks Virtual Machine service.

==Hoodie Orders==

If you want a hoodie please sign up at http://redbrick.dcu.ie/~vadimck/hoodies
The cost is €25 and must be paid by 28th November or your hoodie will not be
ordered.

We will be taking payments at Admin Training, Programming Tutorials and the EGM.

==Programming Tutorials==
Date: Monday 19th November
Time: 5pm-6pm
Venue: LG26

Our first session of weekly programming tutorials is being held next week.
During these tutorial sessions you will be able to bring along
any problems you are having with your code/coding concepts and we'll
do our best to help you out.

Once again I have to remind you that the tutors helping out at the
tutorials are students and as such may
not be able to answer all of your problems. Also it should be noted
that they will not be able to give you the answers to
assignments/labs you are being graded on. If you are
having trouble with an assignment or lab we will try to help you
understand the problem and how you should go about solving it rather
than giving you the answer.

If you have any questions regarding the tutorials, send an email to
helpdesk@redbrick.dcu.ie .

==Events Officer EGM==

As you already know we will be holding an EGM to elect a new Events
Officer on Wednesday the 21st of November. We wanted to let you know
that we have now confirmed that the EGM will be held in QG21 a 3pm.

==Paddy Power Careers Talk==

Cathal Sheridan software development manager in paddy power will be
speaking for a careers event in DCU for their IT programme on Wednesday
at 2pm in QG 21. All are welcome so pop along if you're interested in
careers with Paddy Power or the software which drives their business.

==Functional Spec. Talk==
Date: Tuesday 20th November
Time: 5pm-6pm
Venue: C114

One of our associate members, Lotta Mikkonen, has kindly offered to hold a
talk on writing a functional specification. Lotta is a graduate of DCU's
Computer Applications and has much valued experience in writing functional
specs for course projects. This is a vital stage in software development and
is a necessary skill for any computing student.

Hope to see you at some of the events!
