Hi all and welcome to another installment of... ::THE REDBRICK NEWSLETTER:: This mail contains all you need to know about our AGM, Awards and of course, a round up of the table quiz! ::Table Quiz review:: The table quiz went smashingly, with 26 teams turning up to compete for our fabulous top prize of four iPod Shuffles, not to mention the runner up prizes, spot prizes, last place prize AND a raffle! A great night was had by all, even though the questions were a bit impossible at times, and a big thank you to David Johnston (emperor) and William Lacey (Shadow) for writing them for us :) ::AGM:: As I hope you all know, our Annual General Meeting is happening on Tuesday the 12th of April, in Q121 (upstairs in the business school) and this is *your* chance to become a part of the team to shape the 10th anniversary of your favourite society! The positions up for election are as follows: Chairperson Secretary Treasurer Events Officer PRO Webmaster System Administrator x3 Education officer x3 ("Helpdesk") For further info on any of the positions, visit the online prospectus at: www.redbrick.dcu.ie/about/agm or contact the present holder of the position (we don't bite, honest!) _3_ of these positions require tests to be taken before being qualified to run on the night of the AGM, the details for which are: Webmaster: contact biteme@redbrick.dcu.ie for details of date and time System Administrator: meet in lobby of CA building at 2:30 pm on Fri 8th April Education officer: meet in lobby of CA building at 5pm on Fri 8th April (if this doesn't suit, then email helpdesk@redbrick.dcu.ie) This is a great opportunity to get involved and to help out, so come along and run! Apart from the fun you'll have, being on committee is highly rewarding and future employers look very favourably on those who've dedicated themselves to positions of such responsibility.
