Hey all, Semester 2 is in full swing now, so here's what's happening in the coming weeks. -Admin Training -Science Hackday -Tech Week -Chromebook Testing --Admin Training-- Admin Training returns this week on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in LG25. The topic will be "Installing an Ubuntu Server". --Science Hackday-- Registration for the Science Hackday is closed now. For whoever registered, it's on next weekend in The Hub. --Tech Week-- Tech Week is on starting March 5th. With talks from various associate members and plenty of other activities, it should be a fun week! More information about the various talks will be included in next weekend's announcement. --Chromebook Testing-- EngSoc and Redbrick, in association with the Engineering and Computing Faculty, are offering you the chance to test a Google Chromebook this semester. There are 30 in total to distribute to various members of Redbrick and EngSoc. To be in with a chance to test a Chromebook, fill in the attached form and send it to dcuengineeringsoc@gmail.com Forms must be submitted before Friday March 2nd. If accepted, you'll be responsible for the Chromebook until the end of the semester, and at the end you will fill out a quick survey for the chance to win a prize. That's all for now!
