Science Hack Day's have become an international trend successfully bringing science and technology together by providing a platform for different types of creative and inquisitive minds to collaborate in the same physical space on focused tasks. It'll be a two great days of problem solving fun! Make sure to register at their website above in order to ensure yo get a ticket!! == Notes Hosted On Webspace == Link: https://wiki.redbrick.dcu.ie/mw/PubCookie_on_Redbrick We have recently been contacted by some lecturers about redbrick members hosting notes on their personal web space. We see no real problem with this however it can become an issue if students are using notes from past modules as a substitute for notes on modules which they are currently taking. We would ask all our members who are hosting module notes on their web space to place them behind a simple htaccess file, (see instructions at the link above) or simply take them down. If you have any questions on how to set this up, contact helpdesk@redbrick.dcu.ie Thats all for now, Robert Devereux, Redbrick Secretary 2012/"13.
