Hello all, TL;DR - DNS was broken - Everything now works as usual Just a quick note from your favorite SysAdmin to let you know that services have resumed to normal after a brief but annoying outage of DNS. This outage unfortunate coincided with our annual FOSDEM trip which reduced the bodies available to fix the issue. The DNS outage resulted from a blip that occurred shortly after a scheduled upgrade of our internal DNS infra structure to mirror a change from ISSs' DNS infrastructure. This small error resulted in our DNS server no longer resolving any *.redbricl.dcu.ie domains, however, all other services were operating normally during our temporary absence from the internet. On behalf of the admin team, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and are glad to say that it's allowed us to fix a couple of old issues, allowing greater stability in future. If you think that the brief outage resulted in anything not working quite right please do not hesitate to contact elected-admins@redbrick.dcu.ie (mailto:elected-admins@redbrick.dcu.ie) Other than that have a nice day, and an event free start to semester 2! Kindest regards, Ben McMahon (~mcmahon) - SysAdmin
