Hi all, == Re-Intro to Redbrick == == Redbrick AGM == == Redbrick Annual Table Quiz == == Hoodie Collection == == Re-Intro to Redbrick == Date: Thursday the 14th of March Time: 5pm-6pm Venue: TBC Next Thursday we plan to run a re-intro talk showcasing how you can use Redbrick's services to your advantage. This will include logging in to IRC, backing up/storing your work on Redbrick servers and writing/compiling code on Redbrick. We want to show you how to make use of everything redbrick has to offer. This will also be a good chance for anyone who wants to learn more about Redbrick or get involved, to ask us any questions you may have. == Redbrick AGM == Date: Wednesday the 27th of March Time: 2pm Venue: TBC Redbrick will be holding our 2013 AGM at the end of the month. With this in mind, if there's anything you wanted done this year that wasn't done, if you've got some cool ideas for events or if you just want to try your hand at being a systems administrator then being on the Redbrick committee could be for you. If not and you just want some pizza and your say on who runs Redbrick for the next 12 months, pop along to our AGM. Anyone interested in running for the system administrator, webmaster or helpdesk positions will need to sit the relevant exams set by our current committee members. If you're interested in running for these positions, email us and let us know. We will then organise a date for the exams that suits everyone. We'll be announcing our full agenda for the meeting closer to the date. == Redbrick Annual Table Quiz == Date: Tuesday the 16th of April Time: 7pm(Sign-ups) , 8pm start. Venue: NuBar The time is almost here for Redbrick's Annual Table Quiz and this year once again we'll be invading the NuBar. We'll be taking sign ups from teams(of 4 people) in the NuBar from 7pm. Prizes on the night will include: 1st Prize: Raspberry Pi starter kits including cases and sd cards. 2nd Prize: Nerf Guns 3rd Prize: Assorted cool and unusual sweets As usual we'll be having our annual quiz raffle and this year we will be raffling a Google Nexus 7 tablet. We'll also have the usual spot prizes on the night so make sure you come up with a really funny team name as there may well be a prize for it. == Hoodie Collection == Just a quick note to remind those of you w,ho ordered hoodies before Christmas. The order has arrived and although most have been collected we still have some left. For those of you that haven't picked them up, you can either pick them up at any of our upcoming talks, or drop us an email and arrange a time to pick it up from the common room (N109).
