Hello All.. As you may have noticed, this is rag week ;) The whole point of rag week is not only to get pissed, but also to raise as much money as possible for the charity which is decided upon, and this year, it's the Irish Cancer Society. As such, redbrick are involved in two major rag week activities, both designed to get as much money as possible out of students pockets, and into Cancer research. They'll both be happening tomorrow. One is the Whelan's event (tickets 4 quid, see orly's mail for full details, but we've organised a great night, and I hope loads of you can come.. I promise you, it will beat standing in a queue for the bar, waiting to be served for 25 minutes from plastic cups), and the other is a charity collection on the ballymun road, and swords road. We are gonna hit peak rush hour traffic tomorrow morning and evening to get as much money as we can from passing motorists on there way to and from work. Collections will be from 7.30am to 9.30am, and from 4.30 to 6.30pm. We need as many volunteers as possible to help us out, so if you feel you can give your bit for charity, please come along tomorrow. There'll be breakfast in it for you, and some bar passes as well to let you skip any bar queues that occur during the week. Anyone that can help, (I know some of you have already volunteered), please please meet at T101 tomorrow morning at 7.20am, and we'll give out t-shirts and collection buckets and the like. This IS important, it's what rag week SHOULD be about, so try and make the effort. The evening collection - we'll meet at about 4.15 at t101, and again dish out buckets and t-shirts. Hope to see lots of you tomorrow morning, I know it's early, but you'll be helping people who are in a worse off situation than ourselves.
