Don't forget, this week (Monday 28 February - Saturday 5 March) sees the launch of Tech Week - brought to you by RedBrick, MPS, Fotosoc and Gamessoc. Inspired by the concept of Arts week, this novel take on a themed week is another new initiative, bringing a much more technical flavour to the college for the duration, with guest speakers ranging from representatives of various departments throughout the college to entrepreneurs in the Irish market. Other highlights will include heated debates, gaming tournaments, workshops, a table quiz and the transmission of DCU FM. The grand finale takes place on Saturday March 5th in the form of Wavehunt - a high-tech competition located in the City Centre, see http://wavehunt.redbrick.dcu.ie for more information. The week's opening ceremony takes place at 11.30AM on Monday 28th February in HG20, with free champagne to the first 20 people to arrive. Various talks will then take place throughout the day in the Seminar room upstairs in the hub, followed by a digital art exhibition and wine and cheese reception in the new bar at 19:00.
