In this weeks announce: + Helpdesk@Redbrick: Customizing Redbrick + Online + Techweek ======================================= Helpdesk@Redbrick: Customizing Redbrick ======================================= Where: LG25 When: 25th of February at 2:30pm Description: In this talk the helpdesk team, gamma and butlerx, will be going through how to tailor your Redbrick user experience. They will cover how to set-up config files to customize your Redbrick account. They'll be talking about ways to modify how you use your vim, irssi, weechat and ssh config files to suit you. ====== !LIVE! ====== When: always Where: everywhere Description: Redbrick is pleased to announce that we are back online. ssh and web spaces are both back working again! Some services are still being rebuilt and reconfigured, but we're thankfully up to date. This means we can start work on bigger plans we have for the service infrastructure as a whole. ============ TechWeek DCU ============ When: 9-13th march Description: We're gearing up for #TechWeekDCU 2015. This year's theme is: "The Tech Behind Everday Life". We've got some of the biggest names in Technology from around the world coming to DCU, as well as some familiar faces from Redbrick stepping up and sharing their "Tales of Fail!" There will be lecture-style talks, interactive sessions the in labs, coding competitions and plenty of opportunity for networking ;) We'll give a more detailed schedule in the weeks to come, but trust us when we say, you won't want to miss this!
