hey all its yours truly again, * Ice skating * Christmas party 11th * Web programming * Bar meet up *** Ice Skating *** Yes thats right we have acquired 30 tickets to strap you into a pair of boots you can barely walk AND THEN put you on ice!!! It is of course redbrick on ice! We are bringing the first 30 sign ups to go to the RDS with us on the 4/5th (not sure which yet). Ice skating is something everyone should try once! Dont worry if you've never been and think you'll be bad, trust me ... IM WORSE! (and a big fraidy cat). So if you even wana come and watch me fall your welcome too! A hugely successful event everytime! We will also have a post mortem drink in the woodshed afterwards! So come along even if you not at ice skating and we'll barely walk out of the pub together! *** Christmas Party *** Im going to keep reminding you of this as i want no one to miss out on this! We will be upstairs in the Slipper(Matt Weldons) on the 11th of December 2008! We will have mince pies, mulled wine, decorations, presents, prizes and a special jolly guest coming all the way from the north pole! (i wonder who that will be) I hear he's also bringing something special for all the good boys and girls on the night! As it is a medley of societies involved mainly on the nerdy side we will be giving a prize for the most nerdiest dressed of the night (We want creative!) and also for the most inappropriately dressed for the night! (as in not with the theme not like, well you know ... lets just say it is winter, we dont want anyone catching a cold) tell your friends this event is FREE!!!!! *** Web Programming *** This week we will be holding a Web Programming workshop held by our very own Andrew (werdz). This will be undoubtedly be a good workshop one that if tickles your fancy should not be missed! It is being held in LQ26 at 6 pm *** Bar Meet *** We as usual will be alway be found loitering around DCU old bar, but this is our specific Tuesday meet up! Most of the committee will be there and you should be too! Were not there for anything fancy just sitting relaxing and having a laugh! We like meeting with ye lot so come say hi! We will DEFINITELY (or at least i will be) be in the bar from 8 till whenever really! thats all i can think of for now anyway! dano *out*
