Welcome to week 10, == AGM == This Thursday the 15th of April at 7pm in CG04 we're having our AGM. Want to have your say on how Redbrick is run? Maybe you wanna run for committee? If so you should come to the AGM. Again the positions are: - Chairperson - Secretary - Treasurer - Public Relations Officer - Events Officer - 3 x System Administrator * - Webmaster * - 3 x Helpdesk * More about these positions can be found at www.redbrick.dcu.ie/about/constitution * Just a quick note: the Admin, Webmaster and Helpdesk positions require you to take a test. You must pass this test in order to put your name forward for one of these positions. == Test date for Helpdesk, Admin and Webmaster == Helpdesk test is on tomorrow, 13th of April. Admin test will be on Wednesday, 14th of April. Webmaster test will be on Webnesday, 14th of April. Check topic in #lobby or email committee@redbrick.dcu.ie for times and places. == Admin training == Tomorrow (Tuesday) the 13th of April, at 7pm in LG25 admin training will be on. There will be a session where we have number of short discussions about small topics, like what you need to know about security, LDAP, obscure linux settings 101 etc. If anyone has any ideas let us know, if you would like to stand up and talk to us about something you want to share and know really we you are more then welcome (depending on the subject matter, no hello kitty please). We will also do a small Q&A session for the admin and webmaster tests. That's it for this week.
