Howdy all, Back from my day off so lets get cracking on what we're up to for week 2 :) * IRLCPC contest practice session - Tuesday, 6pm, LG25. * Admin Training - Wednesday, 6pm, LG25. * Techweek, week 3. * Train's resignation. == IRLCPC contest information/practice session == We will be holding a training and information session for the intervarsity coding contest, to be held on 26th of March in UCC, on Tuesday at 6-8pm in LG25. There will be Red Bull and snacks provided to fuel your coding genius so if you can, drop by. The session will involve working on practice problems, finding out more about the contest and a chance to form teams. If you can't attend the training session but would still like to participate in the contest, just let us know and we'll keep you posted. == Admin Training - Set up your own server == This week's admin training will take place on Wednesday at 6pm in LG25. Our very own Haus will take you through setting up an Ubuntu server with a number of services from scratch. In addition, we will be taking a look at some past admin exam papers, so come along :) == Techweek == This year's Techweek will be taking place in week 3. For those who don't know, this is a week dedicated to all things tech. A number of other societies are contributing events with the full schedule being available in the Events tab at http://techweek.dcu.ie . The timetable may be subject to revisions, so feel free to check back during the week. For anyone interested in attending the Arduino workshop, please email the committee, since places for this event are limitted due to hardware requirements. == Train's resignation == Lastly, we are sad to announce Train has resigned his admin position due to increasing workload in his course.
