Hey all there's a couple of important things to note this week: == Hoodie Orders == As you all know the details of the hoodie order were very difficult to pin down during the handover. At this point in time we would like to offer a refund of 25 euro to those who do not want to wait any longer. If you don't want a refund and simply want your hoodie, we assure you that we are still doing everything we can to track the details down so that we can investigate the overly long wait for the hoodies and ultimately get the hoodies to you. We would like to offer our apologies once again for the scarcity of information over the past few weeks. We will let you know what is happening, as it happens. == Downtime 5th of June == This coming Tuesday the 5th of June access to all Redbrick services will be unavailable as the admin team will be performing network maintainance and applying updates. Services will be unavailable from around 7pm onwards and we advise that you save any important material, and shut down any important processes well in advance of this time so that you don't lose any work. All screen sessions will be reset as a result of the downtime. The admin team apologise for any inconvenience caused. == Connector Event 13th/14th of July == Connector are organising a mini-startup weekend on Thursday the 13th and Friday 14th of July with DCU Ryan Academy. The event will run Thursday evening and all day Friday. We would like to encourage as many members as possible to attend these events as they are a great opportunity to network with like-minded people. Thursday evening will consist of talks from business and technical speakers, with pizza and beer afterwards. This will be a great opportunity to pitch network and pitch ideas to everyone you meet. Friday, all day, you will have the opportunity to work on your ideas with business mentors on hand to give you any guidance you need. There will be workshops in the morning and evening, an opportunity to pitch to investors and prizes for best ideas etc. Tickets are 20 euro (covers both days) with free food provided throughout.
