Afternoon Everyone, With the college year coming to an end we'll start to see the new committee planning for the coming year, so if you want to give feedback on the year just gone or suggestions for the coming year don't hesitate to get in touch. Without further ado, the announce: + Hoodies + #HackDCU + Planning for 2015/2016 ===================== What: Hoodies When: Thursday 16th April ( or about 6 months ago ) Where: On your torso soon ===================== For those of you who may not have kept up to date: Hoodies were promised by someone for end of semester 1. Hoodies will hopefully be here at the end of semester two. The provisional order was placed on Monday for those who have paid. The order will be processed on +Thursday 16th April+ So if you have ordered and not yet paid and would like your hoodie, you can pay via PayPal to accounts@redbrick.dcu.ie please include your username and hoodies in the payment info. =================================== What: #HackDCU When: Fri 17th - Sun 19th April Where: DCU Innovation Campus, Ballymun Rd. ( here: -> http://bit.ly/1FPYN2t ) =================================== In collaboration with ESoc, MPS, EngSoc and the DCU Ryan Academy, Redbrick are involved in the upcoming #HackDCU event. The aim is to hack together some hardware or software that would make a DCU student's life easier on or off campus. The event is designed to team up developers, designers, engineers with someone with an interest in business to show why the world needs their hack. Oldmittee, Newmittee and YOU should get together over the summer and plan what you want the future of Redbrick to be. With talks of Hands on Helpdesk and Admin talks, Virtualization and Website redesign, now is the perfect chance to get involved. We'll look into hosting a day in DCU over the summer in the nuBar when the weather is fine where we can sit and plan over a pint and some BBQ. And that's that for another week. To everyone doing projects, one backup is never enough. To everyone doing exams, don't worry they won't ask that. To everyone else... get back to work.
