Ok, it's the last week in the run up to Sillicon and we have three games being playtested. On monday at 1:30pm in the Henry Grattan building i mean to playtest my Jadeclaw scenario. The game runs with 5 people max and should be good fun. On wednesday AJ is playtesting his Violence LARP. He needs 12-15 people to run it, and if you are interested in taking part please send him an email at aj@redbrick.dcu.ie Finally on Thursday night Declan is going to playtest his Abberent scenario. Again if you're around please come along and take part. Sillicon starts on Friday with the LARP "Christmas is Forever" by Shane O'Huid (anticipates violent recriminations for the use of his real name). The LARP will be held upstairs in the Slipper opposite the Ballymun road entrance to DCU and is typically a costume LARP (fancy black ties and faux-vampire costumes at the ready). Though if like me, all of your money is going to your dentist, then you might dispense with the whole rented tux idea. Expect violent recrimination once again. :) On saturday morning the convention will begin with earnest (it's going to be fucking crazy i tell you) and you can expect to see me running about getting games started or trying to fill in for absentee gms who havent sent me their scenarios by making up stories about fantastically omnipotent farm animals with super powers... or something.
