Hey Everybody, Welcome to the first annual Games Week, a week of gaming filled madness. Things kick off this morning at 10 with the sign up for Killer (aka assassin). Killer is a game where each of the players is an assassin out to kill one or more of the other players. Sign-up is in the HUB from 10 o'clock today till 5. The cost of the game is one of your measly earth euros, that will get you an assassin pack containing your contract, your 2 hits, an explanation of the rules and should you need it your death certificate. The packs will be handed out from 6 on in the seminar room. Check out http://assassin.redbrick.dcu.ie for more info. Come along to the Old bar after noon during the week and STOCS will be there for your gaming pleasure. We will have most of the contents of the lockers down in the bar for people to loan out and play. Later today (6pm, seminar room) we will be having a sealed draft game of pirates. It's €1 to play (or €10 if you want to keep the boosters) and that will get you 3 pirates boosters with with to make the best fleet possible with the winner getting whatever has been taken for entry. Thats all for now. More details on the week will be posted in the next few days but for now i have to run to man the killer stand. See you at STOCS, Liam ____________________________________________________________________________ Monday 17th 10am Assassin sign up 12noon Games library 6pm Pirates tournament / assassin packs hand out Tues 18th 12noon Games Library 6pm Poker Tournament Wed 19th 12 noon Games Library 2pm Games demos / console competition 8pm Murder Mystery Larp Thurs 20th 12noon Games Library 8pm Pub quiz Fri 21st 12noon Games Library 8pm Quazar 10pm Lan night _________________________________________________ "I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've kind of lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question. 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?
