From : Paul Feldwick <ameirgin@occultmail.com> Sent : Monday, May 10, 2004 1:39 PM Subject : [irish gaming] LARP Ireland One Day event
Guys and Gals, After the success of the Sillicon linear event, LARP Ireland are organising a one day linear event, details below. The setting is the same as for the Sillicon event, and anyone who had a character at that they wish to continue with, please indicate that on your booking form. Booking forms will be available from the LARP Ireland website this week (www.larp-ireland.org). I hope to see you all there. Also, please pass this on to anyone else you think might be interested. Cheers Paul Feldwick LARP Ireland Club Co-Ordinator Blurb: For as long as anyone can remember, the mists have come. They do not come every night, nor do they come particularly often, but they do come. And when they leave, there is always someone missing - a farmers' daughter, a traders' young wife. Always young, always a woman. No-one looks for them, for all know that they will never be found. They have been taken by the Tuatha De Danaan, spirited away to Tir na nOg to live forever. Last night, the mists came again. And, as always, this morning, a young lady was missing. But this time, it was the daughter of the Viking Jarl of Dubh Linn who is missing. And he cares nothing for stories about the Tuatha, or fancy tales of everlasting life and beauty. She is the daughter of a Viking Jarl, a handmaiden of Odin, and no thrice damned Erinish faerie tale is going to steal her away! So, Sittrik Siggurdsson, Jarl of Dubh Linn, has called for men and women of courage and heart to journey with him and find his daughter. Will you answer his call, and in doing so, come face to face with a legend? Details: Date - Saturday 19th June Meeting Place - Woodstown SC, Tallaght (the 49 or 49A bus from Eden Quay drops you right there) Time - Meet up by 10 am. Time in at 11:30. Time out circa 18:00 Cost - Player: EUR15, Monster: EUR7.50 (lunch is included in the price -monsters on a first come, first served basis) 'All warfare is based on deception' Sun Tzu
