Greetings all, Next wednesday (the 2nd of November for you calender enthusiasts among us) there will be an EMG (Extraordinary General Meeting for you non abreviation enthusiasts among us) to elect the committee for Sillicon 8, which is scheduled to run from the 31,1,2 of april next year. The positions availible for candidates are: Con Director Treasurer PRO Secretary Staff Coordinator Wargames Coordinator RPGs and LARPs Coordinator If anyone is interested in putting themselves forward for any of these positions, please send an email to stocs+committee@redbrick.dcu.ie before midday of the 2nd of November. Candidates put forward will be elected on the night by a majority vote. In other news, there are still places left for Gaelcon (GAELCON PEOPLE!), if you are interested in obtaining such a place, paided for by STOCS (WE'RE PAYING TO SEND YOU TO CONS!) then please email liam at dshagins@redbrick.dcu.ie asap.
