I know you're all up to your eyes with exams, study etc. at the
moment. So ignore this if you want.
However, you may want to know that USI is probably going to sell its
shareholding in USIT. This will give us several millions of pounds to
invest in the organisation. The question is, what do we want to do
with it. What sort of organisation should USI be?
It is likely that we will have the money to turn USI into a properly
resourced organisation. We asked USI to provide an open session to ALL
students who might be interested in asking USI to change its focus. A
sort of brainstorming session.
It will take place in Room 207, SIPTU, Liberty Hall, Dublin 1 on this
Wednesday 10th May at 7pm. The wilder and wackier your ideas the
better. Spread the word.
