hello again all, yet another possible change to plans for sellafield. following todays court ruling in london against Greenpeace/FoE case, the following appears to be the timetable of future events: 19 nov. Irish gov. hearing for interim injunction at international tribunal on law of the seas. 23 nov. proposed gluaiseacht action (was scheduled opening day) 25 nov. proposed gluaiseacht national events. 27 nov. Greenpeace/FoE deadline for appeal 20 dec. apparent new date for introduction of plutonium into MOX facility the question now arising is do we postpone until closer to 20 dec. when there is possibility of others also demonstrating, or do we press on and see what we can achieve. there are 2 other cases somewhere in the pipeline, one by irish gov(possibly to european court, but they are apparently not very into this) and another being brought by Nuala Ahern. it is felt that actions against sellafield/BNFL may jepordise these proceeding. so.... -- _______________________________________________ Get your email from http://www.ireland.com
