Hi, I would just like to respond to Mark from NCAD. While I think that a protest outside Sellafield might be a good idea, it won't acheive an awful lot, the people there already know how Irish people feel, it would just be a small hassle for them, they won't suddenly close Sellafield because afew Irish students stand outside. I think not buying British goods is a better idea, at least if we could get the wide support of the public in general. Then big companies, ie Marks and Spencers would lose alot of business (hopefully) and they would give feedback to the British government. Loss of money is the only thing these people respond to. My job was to find out about oppostion groups, and there's so much information out there, basically just look at www.bnfl.co.uk and see what a marvellous safety record sellafield has and how many MPs support it etc. "Mr Key expressed his support for the nuclear industry, and Springfields in particular. Springfields' Staff Side Secretary Chris Cummings said it had been important to meet Mr Key. "He showed a clear understanding of the challenges and issues facing the nuclear industry in general.
