We will leave Dublin on the 10:45pm fast ferry on Thursday night and be back in Dublin about 7am Saturday morning well in time for the grassroots gathering and the PANA/Green Party Demo in Shannon. The cost at the moment is looking at around £35. That depends on sponsership:-) In Sellafield the talk so far is to do a colourful, lively demo at the gates for a few hours and then visit a local pub to see a slide show from CORE(Cumbrians Opposed to a Radioactive Environment - http://www.corecumbria.co.uk) and maybe also go to some local beeches to take radiation readings. Its thought that the publicity generated will lead to a bigger(more people) trip just before Christmas so its not sure how active this protest will be:-) There is also a call for demos in every town in Ireland on Sunday 4pm - 6pm. As you are all aware there are an awful lot of people interested in this issue who may not give a rats ass about the bigger pictures but they all agree "Sellafield must go". 7 of us got £400 busking in Limerick last night from 12am to 4am to raise money for the trip - got hundreds of signitures on a petition and got a few people saying they are going next Friday.
