Ireland’s highly regarded evening classes will start again on Wednesday 31
January 2007. The classes are designed and taught by Emmet Mordaunt, news editor
of Astronomy & Space magazine.

This
course is suitable for the general public and no knowledge of maths is
required. The style will be informal and questions are very much
encouraged. Each class lasts for
two hours with a 10-15 minute break. There is
no exam, and no need to buy anything. Just bring you brain!
Topics
covered include planets,
stars, telescopes and cosmology.
The course runs for 10 weeks, with classes lasting two hours from 19:30 to 21:30.
Schedule: 7:30-9:30pm, Wednesday 31 January, and each Wednesday thereafter
Venue: Schrödinger Theatre, Trinity College, Dublin 2
Admission: €80 for members (€120 for non-members price includes year's subscription to Astronomy & Space)
