A packed crowd attended the lecture on Monday Sept. 11 by Prof David
Southwood, Director of Science at the European Space Agency - and why not, he
has over a dozen spacecraft worth billions operating beyond the Earth at
present, and plans for more. As promised, for all of you living outside

Our next Public Lecture and DVD is about NASA's plans for space exploration
and will take place in Trinity College Dublin on October 9th.
Kevin Nolan, one of Carl Sagan's Planetary Society Co-ordinatiors will
explain how NASA is going back to the Moon and Mars, and their involvement with
E.S.A. to continue exploring the final frontier.
