1.  Astronomy Ireland Speaker On BBC News And In Irish Times.
A phenomenal discovery has been made in the world of Astronomy - a new ring has been found around the planet Saturn. Prof. Carl Murray, our speaker at our World Space Week Public Lectures in Dundalk and Dublin, was featured on BBC, CNN and RTE news yesterday (October 7) as this remarkable story broke and also in an article relating to the story in the Irish Times today (October 8). At his lectures, Prof. Murray will treat guests to previously unseen photographs of Saturn and indeed images of this new ring which is also referred to as a "halo". He will also recount stories from his post as a member of the Cassini imaging team.
