Nationwide Saturn Watch

Do you want to look through a powerful telescope?

Do you want to see Saturn like you've never seen it before?

Do you want to witness a once-in-fifteen-years  celestial display?

If so, then come to Astronomy Ireland's Saturn Watch on Wednesday, June 3. Watches will begin at 10pm at various locations across the country, and through the powerful telescopes that will be set up you will be treated to the most unique view of Saturn and its exquisite rings in over 15 years. Not only this, you will be able to see several of the larger of Saturn's 61 moons, adding to this already astounding sight.

RTE helped promote the event today when the Derek Mooney Show interviewed our Chairman, David Moore. You can listen to the interview HERE.

Currently confirmed locations are:

Cavan, Carlow, Cork, Donegal, Dublin,

Louth, Mayo, Sligo/Leitrim and Waterford

There will be a Saturn Leaflet at each event, and a special offer on a telescope of your own from our Shop.
