1.  Astronomy Evening Classes
Astronomy Ireland's popular Evening Classes began in 6 locations nationwide last Thursday, October 8. These fantastic classes are aimed at the beginner and cover everything you ever wanted to know about the Universe! In the coming weeks, Evening Classes will commence in 4 more venues across the country. There is still time to enrol for these classes and for more information visit www.astronomy.ie/class.

DUNDALK EVENING CLASSES
Following on from Professor Carl Murray's fascinating talk in Dundalk last Thursday (October 8), registration and the first official class will take place in DKIT this Thursday, October 15. There is still time to enrol for the Dundalk classes. To do this click HERE or call us on (01) 847 0777.

If you missed week one at any of our Evening Classes that started last Thursday, October 8, you may be interested in our second registration special offer for classes in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Waterford. 2.  Art Exhibition
Astronomy Ireland are delighted to be involved with a unique art display inspired by space and astronomy as Mark Cullen's new exhibition "I see a darkness II" is launched in The Lab on Foley Street (off Talbot Street), Dublin 1 on October 16. At the launch, Astronomy Ireland will present a special talk on astronomy as well as a viewing session through a powerful telescope, which will be set up on the balcony of the building. The exhibition will be launched at 8pm on October 16 and will be displayed through to October 24 (10am - 6pm). For more information click HERE.
