RTE,GEMINIDS,FIREBALLS Astronomy Ireland Chairman David Moore will be in studio with Pat Kenny on RTE Radio 1 between 11am and 12pm to talk about the Geminid Meteor Shower later tonight (Dec. 13) and giving telescope advice for Christmas. David was last on air with Pat in February - www.astronomy.ie/PKDM.html There are Geminid Watches around Ireland this evening at 8pm don't forget - see www.astronomy.ie Two major fireballs were seen on December 11, one may have been a Geminid and was seen all over Ireland and from Wales.
