[Astronomy Ireland] Evening Classes on Today with Pat Kenny
Astronomy Ireland's Evening Classes for beginners start next week on Wednesday February 2nd in Dublin City University. With all the interest in the Cassini-Huygens Mission and the landing on Titan 2 weeks ago I will be interviewed by Pat Kenny on RTE Radio 1 on Monday (Jan 31) about recent events and the Evening Classes, details of which are below. The "Today with Pat Kenny show goes out on Monday between 10am and 12noon, with my slot probably in the second half of the show. Do plan to tune in and get your booking in before the rush Monday will generate. Below is the text of the Press Notice issued by our Administrator Tom Finnegan for the classes, which explains everything. You can book 24 hours a day on www.astronomy.ie or call the Shop on (01) 847 0777. (Or post a cheque to P.O.Box 2888, Dublin 5) As ADVANCE booking IS necessary. Classes only cost 120euro (which includes membership of AI and a year's subscription to our magazine, worth 40euro!). Members rate is just 80euro. Excellent value we think as typically courses like this are 150euro and DO NOT include a magazine subscription!
