The solar wind coming from coronal holes on the Sun has increased auroral activity around the world to the point where there is a chance of seeing aurora from Ireland tonight. It may only be a small display on the northern horizon from dark rural skies but you never know. There is a chance tomorrow night (Tuesday) also. LECTURE REMINDER (Sept 8 event is NEW) Wed Sept. 8 at 8pm "The Universe" by David Moore, Seamus Ennis Centre, Naul, Co. Dublin. All welcome. (No admission charge).
