This slot on RTE's flagship daytime television show will see Astronomy Ireland members at a night-time observing session in the Phoenix Park. The telescope gathering which was filmed last month shows members successfully observing Mars, it's polar ice caps, and the Moon. On The Afternoon Show this Monday you will see Astronomy Ireland Chairman, *David Moore* <http://www.astronomy.ie/dmbio.html>, being interviewed at the watch and speaking extensively about Mars, which is an observing highlight this month, how to view the planet, and which telescopes are best for planetary observation.
