MPS, DCU Drama & John McKeown Present: "Six Semesters"
This week sees the coming of the much anticipated film "Six Semesters," Ireland's first feature-length student-produced film, to DCU. Set over the course of (you guessed it) six semesters, this film has been in the making now for over two years and its director John McKeown has been tweaking and perfecting it over the past few weeks making sure that audiences will not be disappointed! A major feat for the college and all involved, be sure to head along to HG23 in the Nursing Building on Tuesday or Thursday at 7.30 or Wednesday at 3 o'clock to see the finished product. Admission is 4 euro. A steal at the price!

Summer Ball Volley Ball Tournament:
The Students' Union are looking for clubs and societies to put forward teams to compete in the volley ball tournament that will take place as part of the Summer Ball this Wednesday. The tournament kicks off at 6:30 and each team should consist of 4 players: 2 girls and 2 guys. There'll be prizes for the team with the best uniform and the best theme song (bring it on a cd!) Teams do not need to be affiliated with any club or society so start recruiting your players now! For more information please e-mail Joey at clubsandsocs@dcusu.ie

'Set in Stone' Creative Writing Anthology Launch:
DCU Book Soc are proud to announce the launch of their first ever creative writing anthology. Featuring thirty original short stories and poems by DCU students and drawings by members of DCU Art Society, 'Set in Stone', is the culmination of a colossal amount of work carried out over the past few months. 'Set in Stone' will be launched this coming Thursday, the 24th of April, in The Hub. All students are welcome to come and help Book Soc celebrate the launch. Keep your eyes peeled for posters about campus mid-week with exact details about this event. To reserve a copy of 'Set in Stone', please e-mail booksoc@gmail.com

Style Soc AGM

Art Soc Open the Old Bar
DCU Art are opening the Old Bar this Tuesday for their end of year party and exhibition. Entry is free and doors are at 8pm. Everyone's invited for the last big society bash of the year.

DCU Drama: The DADAs!
After the unbelievable year that DCU Drama have had (winning the ISDA Intervarsity Competition & Best Society in Ireland), the DCU Annual Drama Awards take place this Thursday night in the nuBar at 7pm! Will you be nominated? Will you win? Who knows? But you'd better show up! Cos, y'know, there'll be free food. See you there!

Ehm, A Personal Note...
Having been chair of the SPC for the last two fantastic years, it's gonna break my heart to leave DCU. Unless there's one of those cushty PhD gigs knocking around, I'm outta here. I'd just like to say that societies in DCU have been a huge part of my education here, possibly moreso than the whole degree/masters dealy. Never have I met so many individuals possessed of such community spirit, such drive and dedication or such joire de vive than the members of DCU societies. You, collectively, are the lifeblood of this college and don't you dare forget it!

It's been EPIC.
