ISDA SUCCESS FOR DCU! A FIRST!

DCU Drama added to their already successful year with a first ever win at the ISDAs on Saturday 25th March in Cork.

In an event traditionally dominated by NUI colleges, it was an unprecedented coup for DCU to pick up a prestigious acting award. When faced with the stiff competition provided by universities that have drama studies courses, DCU Drama proved that they have what it takes to take on the giants of Irish student drama and win.

Eoin O Callaghan, a second year communications student, won Best Supporting Actor for his excellent turn as Chris Keller in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons." Eoin was singled out for praise by the judging panel, who stated that his Chris was one of the most fully realised characters they had seen during the festival.

DCU Drama would like to extend their congratulations to Eoin and hope that this is just the beginning!

That's it, short and sweet!

Bob
