Dear alumni (alumnus?) Just dropping you all a quick note because we'd like to find way to keep you involved with DCU societies/clubs/union! As everyone knows, its the alumni of a university that can really make a difference to student activities. Since it seems like we can't get rid of a lot of you :), the SPC are looking into ways of building up links with alumni and finding something useful for ye to do. Is there something you'd like to be helping out with? Do you think you have skills/ talents that could be passed on? Do you get angry because "it's not the way it was in your day"? Some of you may never want to set foot in DCU again, but if you do have a burning desire to still be involved in some way, I'd really appreciate it if you could drop me a brief e-mail with any ideas about how that could be done - training, awards, etc. There have been some great suggestions, such as getting together a student history of DCU, and so I just want to get a sense of what else people are thinking. This is a very incomplete mailing list, so please feel free to pass this on to any other alumni you know and love. There may also be a party coming up, but more on that soon...
