[Drama-committee] Trip to Maynooth "Chess"

Ahoy Gang, Joe K is looking into Tuesday night's performance of "Chess" in Maynooth for a possible Drama trip. Tix are €5, and we'll have to look into booking a bus OR getting public transport out there and booking a bus back. Shane, the bus we got to Dave's was a 28 seater for €150, his number is 01 8384795 or 087 2511049. His name is Aidan McEvoy. Can you or Joe K give him a buzz and price out either a return trip OR a one-way trip back to Dublin at about 11.30 next Tuesday? See what he offers us, we might need to look around otherwise. The SCC have a bus service that they use (who quoted us €230 for the exact same trip to Dave's on friday night) - I would stay away from that one. Joe K: scribble out an email about the trip and send it to me - I'll make any necessary changes and fire it out to the general membership - we'll see what the interest level is like. If we can get 25-30 people going that would be great. Any less, we'll have to think about public transport. [Drama-committee] ISDA handover meeting

Hi everyone, Hope you have all recovered from the festival, especially Nick and Louise! Congrats to you all on some excellent shows. The ISDA handover meeting is next Saturday 9th April at 3pm in UCC. Mike and I will meet you all at 3 at the reception desk of the student centre (it's the big glass building next to the Honan Chapel). I'm in Strasbourg this week so I won't be contactable til the weekend, but if anyone needs directions ring Mike on 086 8196526 or email damouse999(a)hotmail.com. Also Saturday night is the last night of our last show (Scenes From an Execution by Howard Barker) and there will be a party after it, so as we said at the last meeting you're all welcome, in fact hugely encouraged to come along and make a night of it! Let Mike know if you need beds for Fri or Sat night and also if you want to go to the show and he'll sort you out. Please bring your new ISDA reps to the meeting, also we will be electing the new chair so if anyone is interested in running let me know. The chair must have sat on a previous ISDA council.
