[Drama-Committee] Possible Resolution?

Hey guys, after much discussion, it as emerged that 6pm Wednesday meetings will be ok. This was not seen as possible before due to potential conflicts with rehersals and other committee meetings but it seems now it is possible! So the usual preset rehearsal times will stand. I am personally sorry that this has come about the way it has, but now that it seems to potentially be resolved, I hope it won't affect us all working together in future and that any future unforeseen problems can be dealt with more seamlessly, between the Committee and the HAIR Production Team (god knows everyone's lives would be made easier!) Looking forward to the start of the new semester! [Drama-Committee] Rehearsals

Dear Rebecca and Drama Committee, Unfortunately an issue has arose regarding Monday rehearsals. The first scheduled hair rehearsal is due to take place this Monday at 6.30. This comes in the aftermath of rebecca, kevin, colm and myself agreeing that for the initial weeks, rehearsals will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We need three rehearsals a week. There has always been Monday rehearsals for the last few years and as Ger, Sinead or any of our 08/09 committee will tell you, anyone involved it RENT managed to adapt and ajust accordingly in order to accomodate the Monday rehearsal. A Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday scenario is not a runner as it would be too demanding on cast and crew. We do not want anyone to suffer from burnout or complacency. The Tuesday break is neccesary for all. There seems to be a unique situation where it is not humanly possible for the committee to find any alternative time to meet. This is of strong concern to us as 2/3's of the committe are in the cast and Rob and Blaithin have lead roles. We have hit a roadblock and I don't know how to get around it. I have the first cast email typed and ready to send so beit a Monday or Tuesday rehearsal I need to send it out as early as possible tomorrow in order to give the cast adequate notice.
