Hey Guys,

I have some good news and i have some bad news......i will start with the latter.

I went to order the panto backdrop today using my mothers credit card,before i did so i rang them; I asked them what was the delivery time and to my astonishment she said in order for it to be made,as we had to get specfic dimensions for the backdrop,and to delivery it to us it would take 14 working days!!!Competely different to the 2-4 day delivery time on the website

This means that it wouldnt be ready for the panto..................

However i do have some good news;the boards from last years panto are still about,there are 10-12 of them in total...enough for us to make a pretty kickarse set.We can advertise this as a week long set workshop and i know for a fact alot of people are interested in set building,i will also include this in our announce.I was on to Marian and she has definite set idea's in mind anyway.

I know its slightly disappointing,and perhaps i should have got on top of this early,but on the other hand this is what panto is all about,rolling with the punchs and doing a great job,the cast is extremely enthusiatic and i know they will garner great fun from making the set themselve.Also it giives more people a chance to get involved in Drama.

I feel we have strenght in numbers within our membership to pull this off and i would like to put myself forward in leading this week long workshop.
