'The Importance of Being Earnest' on Friday week (the 5th of March, 8pm) at the Project Theatre, Temple Bar. I already mentioned this at the meeting, but just a reminder: we have 3 complementary tickets (If you like, you could even put up a ticket or two as a prize at the raffle), and I asked that 9 more be kept for us (e5 each for students). Just tell me exactly how much of this, if any, will be subsidised so I can post the news to the mailing list with a price estimate for the remaining 9. The only problem with
collecting >money (albeit a very small amount) is that tickets are kept for us, i.e. >I don't have them in my hands to give to people. Perhaps if I get the mail >out by tomorrow I can confidently guage interest, get monies from dramasoc, >then get the tickets from Mark over the week-end and sell them next week. > Incidentally, I know this is small potatoes in comparison to current developments >with the musical, but what's the update on that cheque being sent to Mark >Lynam-Loane? It's good PR if that's all resolved by the time I see him >next. > >On another matter, I've hit a brick wall with Arsheen Qasim's play, as the >reply from Drama League of Ireland explains. I've said that if she has >anything else in mind, I'll check it out.
