Hello I won't be at the meeting tonight (again), as I've a huge deadline for tomorrow, and I've been slacking off a bit! I'll meet with anybody who needs to talk to me tomorrow when I'm back in college. Sorry about this, can't be helped...4th year. Ehh, a few things. 1) The weekly drama mails should now go to the announce-drama and the drama-alumni lists. I've mailed Riona with a small announcement about the Alumni List for inclusion in the next mailout. 2) I'm starting to worry about the low level of participation by new members. There are maybe 20 active first-time members, which isn't really great. What would you think about a meeting, maybe upstairs in the Slipper, for new members. I know I'd find it very intimidating if I came along to auditions, shows as a way of getting into the society. We could just have a chat with whoevers there, find out what they're interested in etc. I know this is something that will have to jostle for time with all the other stuff, I really just want people to get involved, and to feel like they own the society, which they do. Maybe thought a neutral event might be a good way of getting to know the new members. 3) I've mailed and left messages for Rugby about the money, no response. Any ideas? If anybody has phone numbers for the Rugby Committe members, let me know...I'll pester them in person. 4) Old drama members have been removed from the list, so the list now has just the new members. I've also compiled a wee folder (in the drama redbrick account) with all the membership lists since 1999, so if we want to spam any ex members, we can. (Any word on getting a sponsorship letter written to send out to companies and people?...musical is on the way :) 5) No I haven't forgotten about the domain name. More on that during the week. Right, have to go. Mail me or call me (01 8481057) with anything urgent. Paul -- p a u l m a y www.paulmay.org
