Hey Folks. Just want to say sorry because I can't go to the meeting on Monday night, regardless if what time it begins at. I hope I'm not letting anyone down. Here are the notes from the Tech end, if you would bo so kind as to keep them in mind. -1- Radio Mics for Redbrick Mark Boyle approached me regarding using DCU Drama's Radio Mics for the Redbrick Alt.Rag ball, and informed me that this was fine by Medb and other Committee people. He couldn't tell me how many would be needed though. When this is certified, please mail me the number borrowed so I may account for it. -2-Musical stage and props The stagemanager we have this year is highly qualified to do her job, and to assist in that regard I was considering taking an active measurment of the total usable stage area, and marking dead space and unusable areas accordingly, and then using perhaps somewhere like the Venue to double as the rehersal stage. To do that, I'd need one volunteer, and I can get the industrial site measuring tape. Sound like a plan? I could Autocad the plans up if required but a sketch should be all that's needed. Also, should I source props for this? We have a certain amount of material that can be used, and I could analyse the list to see any possible usages. -3-Storage space Will someone please check this space out? If it's not usable, then I'll have to try and locate an alternative. I'm free from Wednesday eveings onwards. Medb, Maggs, Elaine or Riona would be the best judges of this I think. Please advise. I know you're all up to your eyeballs but the comment's been made that this job (Tech.Officer)has been done properly before and I'd like to reverse that trend. I'm tired now, and that's all I can think of. Sorry again for bailing at the last minute. Perhaps I'll see some of you at the Redbrick Alt.Rag ball. Yours, with apoligies, David Grimes
