Hey guys, MPS are hosting Society Fortunes on Wed 25th in the old Bar I'm writing to invite you and your socitiety to join in....Its gonna have basically the same set up and format as Vernon Kay's Family Fortunes from t.v. I f you havn't already seen it- check it out on YouTube! It's really good fun..... Two family teams, each with five members, would be asked to guess the answers to a of series of open ended questions eg. Name a game you would play in bed or name things a gf wouldn't let her bf do...... and so on..... Each round would begin with a member of each team approaching the podium. As the question was read, the first of the two nominees to hit a buzzer would give an answer. Each Team will be made up of 5 members, all from the committee, there has to be a "mammy" and a "daddy" and the "children" (So to speak!) It will be held in the old bar with seating for the audience at 8pm... The four societies chosen to compete against each other by MPS are: - Drama Soc - Style Soc - Music Soc - E & S Be a bit of craic and ya get to compete against other societies...
