DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING
Agenda: Monday, March 24th, 2008
Absent: Declan, Marian, Jenni, Yvonne
Matters arising:
- it will be okay to leave the Disco Pigs set with The Theory of Everything set in the Project Theatre on Tuesday night
- Megan to contact Ian just to double check
- Scrubs definitely isn't happening
- Pauric to text Gary tonight to contact the cast and let them know
Lisa Muldowney:
- the University is discontinuing funding for the Student Activities Officer
- we're agreed that we're not happy about this at all
- Pauric to contact Joey or Alan Flanagan to see if there's anything we can do
- Pauric to include it in the announce drama to try and get people to log onto the thread on Life
ISDA:
- happening this week
- Pauric to include it in the announce drama to encourage people to go to the shows
- the awards ceremony is at 7:30pm on Sunday night in the Academy (used to be Spirit)
First year rep:
- an idea to pass on to next year's committee: just make sure to outline exactly what is expected of the first year rep before accepting nominations
Scrapbook/Yearbook:
- the scrapbook is nearly finished, just has a few pictures left to stick in
- it needs to be in for Thursday
- everyone to email Megan with a picture of themselves that they would like on the committee page
- Pauric, Alan and Megan to ensure that the scrapbook is finished off in time
- for the DADAs, it might be nice to give final years a copy of the yearbook printed and bound rather than a certificate
AOB:
- the AGM has been scheduled for 2:30pm on Wednesday of Week 11
- Alan can't make it for that time, but we want to have all of the committee there
- changed to 6pm on Tuesday of Week 11
- Susan to rebook CG12
- we need to decide when we'll pick the winners of the DADAs
- the Sunday before Week 12 would be the best time but we won't have seen Six Semesters by then
- Fiona to contact John McKeown to see if we can preview the movie before the premiere
