the bar manager says that an cumann gaelach claim to have booked the bar with a member of management (who isn't him) but that they can't remember who. He knows that it wasn't written in his bookings book, but they had gone ahead and paid for the bar extension (which i've found out is a pile of shit, paul told me he paid for it). So he's more willing to take their booking than ours, even though he knows that we did go in and book with him.
I've just been talking to the girl on the cng committee who is organising the quiz. She the rudest person i've ever met. She's sayin that it's their quiz, they booked it, they got the bar ex,, it's seachtain na gaelge, they need the money for the ball, and no, they won't even consider letting us do anything in there on that night.
I'm considering going back to the bar manager and telling him that it's a pile of shite with thier booking, cos not one of them that was there (i stopped by the table in the hub selling tickets for the ball) seemed to know who actually booked the bar. But that will just cause bad feelings
Trad music are in the new bar, they're being filmed for nationwide, they've had that booked for ages, and it can't be moved.
anyone got any suggestions (apart from breaking cng's kneecaps?)
