I got your email address from the DCU clubs and societies website and was wondering if you or some of your members would be interested in the attached part-time sports jobs with the Irish Tag Rugby Association this summer.

In total, we will be hiring about 50 Venue Managers and 300 Referees around the country so there is lots of opportunity of getting involved – and earn some cash while staying fit. Attached are the two job specs - it would be great if you could forward the job details onto anyone you think may be interested and/or put the poster up on your club notice board.

In Dublin, we are primarily looking for people to work in our venues based on the south side of the city…there are only a few northside venues:

• Templeogue
• Terenure
• Blackrock
• Ballinteer
• Dundrum
• Harold’s Cross
• Stepaside
• UCD
• Santry
• Rathmines
• Lucan/Celbridge
• Castleknock/Blanchardstown
• Ballsbridge
• Sandymount

Regionally, we are looking for people in:

· Cork

· Galway

· Limerick

· Ennis

· Athlone

· Naas

Working with ITRA is a great way for students get fantastic Sports Administration experience - and earn some decent pocket money at the same time. And as the work is in the evening time from 6 to 10pm, it can be combined with a full-time job. You don’t need to know anything about Rugby (or Tag Rugby) - in fact we would prefer if you were not from a rugby background. Full training is provided for both roles.
