DRAMA MEETING: 2nd November 2005.
Present: Shell, Phaxx, Stephen, Eoin, Joe M, Bob
Dee's play is cast…Venue? Looking at Space. Too small for Venue.
Socs Ball- 41 out of 50 sold. If we don't sell them, a loss of 405
euros ensues!! Boo, hiss!
Proposal: Eoin for Mikey…2 tickets for this Table Quiz…split profits.
Shelley for 7 tickets to Canoe Club?? Get on this… Bob for Announce-
Drama e-mail explaining to all: PAY FOR YOUR BLOODY TICKETS!! Talk to
Shane and Dave about this.
Broadway- 21 people have not paid the second installment. Next week
deadline for 2nd installment- e-mail about this. Expenses, etc to be
forwarded to Shane via Bob. Hostel booked, 10 guys/10 women/9 girls and
1 guy in the other!!! Joe K to be in girl's dorm!! Passed unanimously!
Month before dates: Hostel need names. 10 days before: Aer Lingus need
names. Hostel to be paid by credit card…Bob's credit card!! Yayness!
Proposed one or two meetings of group before heading off…to discuss
phones and stuff. Party of thirty to be split up into ten groups of
three…at theatres a half hour before shows…itinerary so time can be
filled!! Luggage stuff…Passports…Coldness…Bob to send a 'Broadway
e-mail'…Brief cameo from Elaine: 7:42pm.
Grant App- Looking into spotlights and sets…prices. Place in Finglas
doing dirt cheap lighting. Eoghan to look into this with Shea…(Shea?
Who the fuck invited him along?) 100 euro and 80 euro respectively for
a keyboard and CD player. Shelly keyboard- contact Shane to tell him we
may not need his keyboard.
Rocky Horror- A success? A failure? Charlie to empty waterpistols.
Film Soc in Arts Week?On the Wednesday? Huh? Arts Week meeting at 1pm
tomorrow. Eoin and Shelly
Arts Week: Performances where? Inter-Faith centre is booked out…2
shows…On the same bill. Nursing Building? Not in New Bar!! Schedule,
posters, venues. Questions to be brought up at tomorrow's meeting.
Twice a day… Whose Line Is It Anyway? Possibly in the New Bar?
Musical:Guys and Dolls!! Known show, popular songs, bums on seats. Will
we get the rights coz another crowd are doing it? Will they rain on our
parade? Who gives a fuck??

Panto- Thursday, 8th of December. Matinee for Wednesday afternoon…i.e.
4 performances!! Not 3!! Sound and Lighting workshop, possibly on a
Wednesday, run by Atlas- to get people to run the sound, etc for the
Panto.
Posters- Stars, All My Sons, Pantomime…Liaise with Joe about this,
after Arts Week meeting.
Any Other Business?
Cast lists to be sent to Phaxx to be put up on the website. Shelly to
deal with Stars cast list.
Meeting between Stephen/Shelly and a Redbrick rep. (Jess?) Charlie to
set it up?
Website- gallery (new photo's).
DLI: Saturday, 5th. Acting/Directing workshops on Saturday. Teacher's
Lounge in Parnell Square…5 euro, 11 euro. Stephen to get in touch with
Fiona, Dee and any other director's who would be willing to attend. Joe
K to talk to DLI, re: Workshops.
St. Michael's House on Wednesday Week 12.
