Hey guys,
Right, so we officially have authority on the drama account. This means
we can now access the funds we've all worked so hard to raise over the
Summer. Eoin, Steve, John, I have your student cards. I can meet ye in
DCU any morning this week (I'm in work from 2 -9) if you want to get
them back. Otherwise, I'll bring them to the meeting on Thursday.
I'd also be grateful if at least one of the signatories were able to
make it in to DCU tomorrow so that I can get a sterling draft to settle
our account with Josef Weinberger. The payment was due on the 1st of
Septemeber but they've kindly given us a two week extension. They've
been extremely accommodating and I wouldn't like to try their patience
any further if we can help it, bearing in mind that we'll more than
likely have to use their services again this year. Anybody able to make
it tomorrow before 12:30? Steve? John? Eoin?
I'm not sure if Liana has managed to sort out her computer yet so I've
asked Joe Murray to e-mail last year's freshers' flyer to the committee
list. We need to have that sorted this week for when we're packing the
bags. Has anybody been in touch with Charlene Connolly to clarify when
this is going ahead? Also, we should probably arrange a meeting with
her to discuss the possibility of running some events in association
with The Union.
Also, does anybody have Hazel from Style Soc's e-mail? I'd like to
contact her in relation to the possibility of us running the masquerade
ball in conjunction with them.
