Hi, I am a final year Multimedia student currently looking into doing a live
on-stage 3D projection for my final thesis. The technology used is quite
simple, it ia called Transscreen. As used by the gorillaz for their live
stage performances this technology is simply a clear sheet of plastic with
microscopic patterns that effectiely diffracts light off a projector aimed
towards it. I was wondering if there would be any possiblilty of the society
funding me for this sheet of plastic which in turn can be kept by the society
upon completion of the thesis. it will allow the drama soc to project any
form of prop, or background onto it therefore making the whole dramatic experience
a little more high tech. Lemme know what you guys think. cheers
