- looking to speak to Roisin Cooper or Pauric for stage manager

Sponsorship:

- Pauric is looking after sponsorship for the musical, getting a team together

- stretch target €10,000, minimum target €5,000

- Pauric's main task is to get a title sponsor, like AIB or Bank of Ireland

- anyone with contacts should forward them on to Pauric

- AIB sponsored the panto €1000, but we didn't use it so we can put it into the musical instead

- maybe DCU Drama could put a certain amount of money towards the musical rather than simply bail it out at the end

- Jenni to check if the society can afford to sponsor the musical

Next semester:

- Week 1: auditions

- Week 2: nothing (so far)

- Week 3: Rag Week

- have it at 6:30pm, before committee meeting

- Pauric to contact the directors involved

- can sell hoodies at the forum too

Rag Week:

- Week 3

- definitely do Drown Drama

- maybe have busking/face painting/balloon animals/chocolate apples in the Hub or Street as well

- do both events on the Tuesday evening

- Fiona to contact people to do the busking

- aim to raise €500

- try to have one every week this semester

- Yvonne to contact Ciaran Gray to do a workshop in Week 2

- also Liam Halligan, Aisling O'Flanagan, Ian Coppinger, Jay Fallon

- maybe organise seminars for people who want to know more about the theory of drama like script writing, directing, producing, stage rules, etc.

- use the forum on Monday of Week 1 as the first seminar, talking about auditions

Website:

- photos to be uploaded from Catherine

- Conor to get them up before Broadway

- Conor to get an image of a poster for each show up on the home page and a list of shows that are happening

- drama CD: compilation of songs that people have performed during the year

- Declan to ask John McKeown if he would record the CD in the radio studio

Broadway, role of committee:

- team leaders: Declan, Yvonne, Fiona, Pauric

- committee must take on extra responsibility while on the trip

- get people through the gates in the airport as quickly as possible

- get people to the shows on time, committee need to be meeting in the lobby early to show a good example

- make a special effort with the newer people

- Pauric has a copy of the itinerary for everyone

- rooms in the hostel: two rooms of 8 (mixed), two rooms of 12 (one for boys, one for girls)

- Mustang Harry's on Monday night

- ice skating on Tuesday morning

- €225 for the meal, committee will have to pitch in a little

- venue: Little Caesar's near the Westbury

- Fiona to book for ten people

Trip away:

- a trip to the West End?

- after the musical, maybe the weekend of Week 9

- bring about twenty people, with first preference to those who didn't go on the Broadway trip

- we would get funding for tickets at least

- fly over Friday, see a show Saturday, come back Sunday, or just go for the day and see a matinee

- too much on top of Broadway, committee probably wouldn't be able to go so there would be no one there to organise everything

AOB:

- Campus blurb

- Drama's back with a bang

- everyone had a great time in Broadway

- forum on Monday, auditions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

- auditions in Henry Grattan Building for Fame and other shows
