Hey all,
Its week 6 and we're half way through first semester already! We've got a few things on this week for anyone with some spare time.
- Firstly we have a TECH WORKSHOP on today Monday 2nd November in the venue at 6.30pm. This is our second tech workshop of the year and this time we'll be setting up our new lighting equipment so anyone who went along last time or just has an interest in tech/lighting should come along.
- Secondly we're running another IMPROV WORKSHOP this wednesday the 4th of November at 3pm in the interfaith (location may change but meet up here). This is another workshop in the build up for getting together a team for the isda improve weekend that will be taking place in derry later on in the year but even if your not interested in competing it is still a great way to have fun and learn a few skills.
- We will be selling clubs and socs ball tickets later on in the week. We'll take names of those interested at the two workshops and you can email our treasurer jenni tweed at jennifertweed@gmail.com if you wanna put your name down for a ticket too. The ball will take place in the crown plaza hote. Tickets cost 45euro and there is no general sale so the only way to get them is through the societies you've joined. - Another event for any of you interested is the showing of the mps/dcudrama all-student film Six Semesters on Tuesday in QG15. This was the first student made film in Ireland and is definately worth a watch.

- Lastly then we are getting brand spanking new hoodies this year which look very fancy indeed. They should be delivered by early next week I think and will cost 30 euro each or 25euro to anyone who put down a deposit last year.
